Each sculpture is a careful blend of digital design, craftsmanship, and patience. Here’s how each piece comes to life:

-
Digital Sculpting:
I begin by creating a detailed 3D model on the computer, shaping the body, wings, and other components using sculpting software.
-
3D Printing & Assembly:
The design is then 3D printed using PLA filament. Once printed, I remove and clean any support structures, refine the surface, and carefully assemble the various printed parts.
-
Eyes & Facial Details:
For the eyes, I hand-paint clear cabochons to give them depth and character, then add small polymer clay details to bring expression and realism.
-
Wing Design & Laser Cutting:
I research real bird wings and recreate them digitally in Adobe Illustrator. The designs are then laser cut onto specialty papers using a laser cutter, creating precise feather shapes.
-
Hand-Cut Feathers & Painting:
Beyond the laser-cut pieces, I hand-cut additional feathers one by one. Each feather is glued in layers and hand-painted with intricate details to create texture, movement, and individuality.
-
Final Assembly & Finishing Touches:
Once all the parts are assembled, I add extra painted or sculpted details to complete the piece — ensuring that every sculpture feels alive and unique.
